[HB 1170](https://app.leg.wa.gov/BillSummary/?BillNumber=1170&Year=2025&Initiative=false) targets AI-generated misinformation, requiring large AI companies (over one million monthly subscribers) to embed watermarks or metadata in substantially AI-modified content.
